Alicia Keys #NoMakeupMovement Continues....And I Love it! The Grammy and award winning singer is making headlines and inspiring many to do the same. The natural beauty has been spreading the joy and freedom of going make-up free on  everything from the MTV Awards to The Voice.  Not everyone is embraces this movement but that's not stopping her. I feel this is more about her as a person, not a celebrity. With her incredible skin and freckles she's the camera's still can't get enough! 


Over the last couple of month I've also been going natural and I love it! I don't want people, friend's..etc.. to see me always in make-up and than times when I'm not, think that something is wrong or I'm not as attractive. I want to feel beautiful and confident with or without it. Plus it's one less thing to do in the morning.  Our confidence and beauty should come from within and the outside is just a reflection of the power inside. I have three make-up crazy girls and I totally embrace it, but I make it clear that they are just as beautiful if not more without it.
 
Although I love the natural movement I also love make-up and how it accents our natural beauty. Make-up is fun and there is always something new to try. It can definitely make you feel extra special and there's nothing wrong with that.

Loving Pass Bipolar

Happy Sunday!! The weather is extremely hot, but I love it! I had a bit of a scare this morning. My church had a outside service this morning and my daughter Sophia got over- heated which aggregated her asthma. I don't play when it comes to asthma and heat sooooo........we took her to the ER. They ran all the normal test and blood work thank God everything is fine and she's home resting now. So my plans for going to the pool are out. My daughter Remi  has her 2nd therapy session tomorrow, which I will fill you guys in on later this week. Remi is my oldest daughter who has  blessed us tremendously as my other 2 daughters have also. Remi has intellectual disabilities caused by 22q chromosome deletion. PARENTING VICTORY : MY ADULT WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND MENTAL CHALLENGES

"I CAN DO ALL THINGS THOUGH CHRIST WHO STRENTHENS ME".. Philippians 4:13 ...My   daily reminder. I got this!  It gives me great peace and strength that can only come from Christ. This summer has been the most difficult time since 2014.  In 2014 Remi graduated from high school. Remi loved her high school experience. Although academically Remi was capable of doing more than what was expected of her in school. But that's a whole different story. Remi loved seeing her friends and having the same routine everyday. Her biggest love was riding the bus. Her bus pick-up time was 5:15...not good for mama!! Which just killed me for 4 years. But Remi LOVED IT!!  After graduation for the next 2 years it was hell on earth. We went to several therapist and psychologist to find out what was going on. Remi was diagnosed with bipolar by some and others couldn't give me a clue of what was going on. This was an extremely difficult and stressful time to say the least
