Exciting New Makeup Trends: Something for EVERYONE!

via (elle.com)

This seasons creative looks are unique but still wearable. We're seeing bold looks that are fun and full of color exploding on the runway and red carpet. Celebrities such as Jessica BielYara Shahidi  and Bella Hadid are stepping out from the typical makeup looks and venturing outside the box. It's a breath of unexpected adventure!

These new looks are a combination of glamour and sporty and I love it! With glitter being such a big trend this season in fashion it's also ventured over to beauty. A feel of energy and excitement is in the air with vibrant eye shadows, bold lipsticks and colored liners and of course lots of glow glitter.
Below I have some of this seasons biggest make-up trends!

Dramatic Black Lines

I love black eye liner.

This has always been part of my make-up routine. Eye liner has great power to bring your eyes to life! This season black eye liner is beautifully dramatic.  A thin line above your lashes is out and replaced with a thick line around both lash lines. You can wing it, which is my favorite, create a dramatic angle, or create graphic shapes.

Lipsticks Are Back

Beautiful luxurious lipsticks are back! More colors and finishes to choose from with amazing moisturizing properties.  There's so many colors to choose from, go super bold with ruby red lips or a more natural look with flesh color lipsticks with your choice of finishes. There are many make-up brands that offer beautiful lip color that keeps your lips looking good and feeling great. Here are a few I think you will love, Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick, Clinique Almost Lipstick and Mac Huggable Lipcolor.

When I'm choosing color for my lips my go to is usually nude with a glossy finish or classic red lip. Lately I've been loving my classic red lip, it easily wakes up my otherwise low-key make-up look. For night time I take it a little darker with a gold shimmer finish. Dark fuchsia's and deep purple's are my favorites colors to play around with.

Glitter Bomb

Everything is glittering and sparkling and it's not just for evening. Glitter is all over the runway from clothes to make-up. Shimmering rhinestones, glitter and sequins is applied to your eyes, cheek bones and even lips. Not a everyday look for most but definitely something you can play around with and make it your own.

I love the look of  shimmering eye lids for a day look, especially the neutral/golden colors paired with a glossy neutral lip. It wakes up the eyes without going to bold for day. Pair with red lips for a beautiful warm festive look.

Sun Kissed Golden Girl

The golden glow is every woman's best friend. Perfect of any skin tone, adding a natural glow and healthy look. This will be your easiest look of the season! Golden makeup and highlighters are beautiful on your eyes, on your upper and lower lids it's gorgeous.

For a beautiful finished look add a neutral gloss for a more dramatic look go with lush lashes, black eyeliner  and a bold lip. Use the highlighters to emphasize your natural beauty. This look is going to be glowing for many years to come.

Sunset Eyes

Gorgeous smokey eyes are a favorite for many makeup artist. This season were seeing a more colorful jewel tone and bronzy smokey eye. Beautiful shades of orange and browns look amazing on a multitude of skin tones. To add a 60's flair to your eyes try tones of emerald, blue and indigo for a more dramatic look.

Heavy Lashes

Lush lashes have made a comeback in 2018. This trend was seen all over the runways for spring. Layering your mascara with a neutral palette eye lid will pull off a modern look. Adding mascara is a simple way to open and bring attention to the eye without looking overdone.

       Which one will you create!
